How I Got a Feeling with Piano
I have always wanted to learn how to play piano. It's been an item on my bucket list for years. But since 2021, it's no longer a wish. It has become a routine in my life. On average, I practice 3 - 5 times a week, one to two sessions daily, each ranging from 15 - 45 mins. I've transformed myself from a beginner into an intermediate player after months of practice.
I'm a solopreneur of my own startup. My schedule is flexible because I don't have complete control of it. In a collaborative environment with vendors and clients, I learn to play piano at my own pace with Simply Piano.
Simply is a product suite of multiple apps. You can learn not only how to play piano but also guitar, and even how to sing and draw. The annual subscription fee for the piano app costs about the amount of two lessons hiring a private tutor. It's very cheap. But the quality is exceptionally high. The feedback the app gives me regarding my performance is instant. IMHO, I'd prefer a machine-human feedback loop rather than a human-human one. The reason is obvious: well-designed software doesn't tolerate any room for error and it translates into a better quality of self-learning.
I create a profile for myself and another one for my daughter.

We can separate our learning pace within the app. It's a very important feature as we can take different paths in our separate profiles. Depending on our interests, we can take on either Chords or the Soloist path, the one that I'm taking.

This is what I did with a song by Black Eyed Peas.
